Channelling kids’ imaginations to save lives
With drought conditions throughout Victoria’s north-east drying up rivers, children were looking to escape the heat by playing in irrigation channels.
Placing themselves in life-threatening danger by doing so, there was an urgent need to engage children with water-safety messaging around swimming in supervised locations only.
Tapping into kids’ need for education to be aspirational and entertaining, Commotion delivered a popular and effective campaign featuring a cast of kooky characters who kids took to – swimmingly!
